Walker & Bing

Walker & Bing are boutique silk scarf designers created byNikki Walker and Darya Bing locally from their design studio in Auckland.Walker & Bing applies a fine-art discipline to multiple textile design projects. Their scarves are, first, works of art, aiming to make each design a standalone piece of art within a cohesive collection.

The fine art element of their offering and the fluid, soft nature of the scarves inspired the direction for the Walker & Bing visual identity. The logo design focuses on the typography - a beautifully crafted modern serif with unique intricacies playing with the juxtaposition of thick and thin weights. Combining this with a rich and warm colour palette creates an elegant, tactile and timeless brand that showcases and enhances the beautiful products it sits alongside.

The visual identity for Walker & Bing was then translated into seasonal lookbooks and digital assets.
